How does the free trial work?

Every account can have 1 statement read free, once; after that, reading needs Pro. On Pro each file read counts once against the month it is uploaded in (50 a month, reset on the 1st, UTC). Uploading is always possible: a file your plan cannot read yet is kept, and you can read it after upgrading. Trying again after a failed read does not count again, and a file that cannot be read at all (a scan without text, a password-protected PDF, too many pages) is given back.

How are statements read?

An AI model (Anthropic's Claude, through llab08's own gateway) reads the transactions from your file. You review them, correct anything that is off, and export CSV. Where a statement prints its opening and closing balances, StatementSync checks that the transactions add up and tells you if they do not. See the privacy notice.

How do payments, receipts and cancelling work?

Pro is billed monthly or yearly in US dollars through Stripe, which e-mails your receipts. Switch between monthly and yearly, update your card or cancel any time under Subscription → Manage billing; a cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds?

We do not give refunds for part of a billing period (for example for the rest of a period after you cancel), except where the law requires one. The trial is free. The terms set this out.
