1. Agreement
By creating an account or using StatementSync you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. The service is provided by llab08, Hong Kong.

2. The service
StatementSync stores the financial statements you upload in a private, per-user bucket and reads the transactions out of them with an AI model: the text of a PDF, or the image you upload, is sent through llab08’s own AI gateway to Anthropic, whose Claude model returns the transactions it reads. The privacy notice describes this processing. While automatic extraction is switched off on this deployment (the home page says so), no file is sent to a model provider and an uploaded statement is stored, not read.
Extraction is best-effort: results may contain errors or omissions and must be verified by you before being relied on for accounting, tax, or any financial decision. Where a statement prints its opening and closing balances, StatementSync checks that the transactions add up to them and tells you when they do not; a matching total does not prove that every line is right.
3. Not financial advice
Dashboards, categories, and insights are informational only and do not constitute financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the documents you upload. You confirm you are entitled to upload them and that they do not contain third parties’ data you are not permitted to process. You grant us a licence to process them solely to provide the service.
5. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your credentials confidential. Do not attempt to access other users’ data, circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the service, or upload malicious files.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Every account can have one statement read free, once (the trial), within the page and file-size limits shown on the pricing page. We keep a record that an account has used its trial, also after its StatementSync data is deleted, so that the trial is used only once. After the trial, reading statements needs Pro.
Pro is billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly, in US dollars, and renews automatically until you cancel. Stripe e-mails your receipts. Pro includes a number of statements per calendar month (UTC) and a page and file-size limit per statement, shown on the pricing page and in your account. You can always upload a statement: one your plan does not cover yet is stored but not read until your plan allows it. Unused statements do not carry over.
You can switch between monthly and yearly billing or cancel at any time under Subscription → Manage billing. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: Pro stays active until then, and reading then stops until you subscribe again. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change before it applies to your next renewal.
Refunds: we do not give refunds for part of a billing period (for example for the rest of a period after you cancel), for unused statements or for a switch from yearly to monthly billing, except where the law requires one. The one-time trial is free.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. [Describe data-deletion timeline after termination.]
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to StatementSync is limited to the fees you paid us for StatementSync in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of Hong Kong.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR. Before starting any claim, please write to hello@llab08.com so we can try to resolve it; any dispute that cannot be resolved that way goes to the courts of Hong Kong.
